Friends of the Pound are a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation based in the Tweed area whose aim is to find homes for as many unwanted or homeless pets as possible, promote responsible pet ownership, & continue our work in improving conditions for the dogs & cats at our local pound.

About our products/services

Friends of the Pound rescue dogs & cats from the local pound & place them in foster care until suitable permanent homes are found. We have lovely dogs & cats currently available.

Our territory / We deliver to

Our rescued dogs & cats are re-homed locally throughout the Tweed & Gold Coast & further afield if necessary.

Opening hours

Friends of the Pound are in attendance at Tweed Shire Pound 7 days per week & can also be contacted after hours.

Other comments

Foster carers & members are always needed & donations & support greatly appreciated.
