About our business

All Paws Forward Pty. Ltd. is a small company established in March 2004, which runs puppy preschool and adult dog training classes.

All Paws Forward (APF) has been established because the owners are all dog lovers, owners and trainers who strongly believe that owning a dog is a responsibility for life. Having a dog in the family is great fun, but socialisation and training can make it even better for both owner and dog.

Did you know that socializing puppies at an early age, to as many things as possible, can prevent many adult dog behaviour problems? The optimum age at which to do this is when your puppy is between 6 - 16 weeks. By participating in puppy preschool, your pup gets the best possible start to live a happy and well-adjusted life in our diverse human world

About our trainers:

Our male and female trainers have all completed the 'Professional Dog Trainer's Course' and 'Dog Behaviourist Course' with National Dog Trainer's Federation. The courses involved canine psychology, training fundamentals, behaviour problems and solutions. We were trained by the likes of Dr Robert Holmes, a well respected Veterinarian and Animal Behaviourist and Steve Austin, who trains the 'Beagle Brigade' for the Australian Quarantine Service and Australian Customs. You may have seen him on Harry's Practice! In addition we all have experience in training our own dogs over the years.
